Scenario which worked for me tonight.

Buy 2 Goody Hair Bands

3.99 on sale – 1.00 coupon – 3.99 rebate = 1.00 moneymaker!!!
If you buy 2 make sure you have an alternate address, and pay seperately for 2 receipts for the rebates. Good for one per address.
